1. Crushing the material into granules less than 10mm. Below are the crushing machine for wood logs,bratches,straws,agro waste. 2. Dry the granules to make reduce the mositure between 8%-12%,this process needs special attention. Below are the 2 styles dryer for different capacity. The air flow dryer usually match small capacity production line, for large capacity line it can’t reduce too much moisture. Rotary dryer is very suitable for large capacity line, and for the material with above 30% or 40% moisture. Because its effect of removing mositure is obvious.  3. Carbonizing the sawdust stick into charcoal briquettes. This process will heat an d burn the stick in the carbonization furnace, in order to save cost, some customers will build the carbonization furnace by themselves.  4. Since the temperature of is very high, the charcoal briquette need cooling for 8-24 hours.

Generally, there are two types of flat die pellet mills in the market, the rotating die type and the rotating roller type. The former one has a stationary roller with the rotating die while the latter has a stationary die with a rotating roller. Adopting vertical principle, the raw materials drops down by the its own weight into the pelletizing chamber where they are compressed between the rollers and die to form pellets by going through the die holes.

  1. During extruding process, material feed from the end of machine cavity convey to the whole cavity by screw, then divided into several regions at extruded part, each region have a ring (press ring) to control flow and press. Screw convey function drive the material through the gap between the press ring and cavity, screw rotating motion generate energy with the friction between material and extruder parts is transformed into thermal energy.
  2. In most cases, the material rich with starch and protein is cooked into a sticky dough or gelatinous dough. During the transform process, the material have a large physical and chemical changes, mainly is the results of starch and protein changes.
    3.When the material is extruded through molding holes at the end of machine cavity, make the dough material processed into a certain shape. Due to the large of propulsive force of screw inside cavity, the material have a huge pressure, when material is extruded from the molding holes, it instantly vaporized a large quantities moisture, greatly reduce the material moisture content.
  3. When produce low density products, it would have a large expansion depends on the molecular structure of material, and all condition and material used during extruding process
  4. When produce high density products, it would not expansion large depends on the purging pressure port on the cavity and all condition and material used during extruding process.
